I recently obtained my PhD in Hematology from the Cancer Science Institute, National University of Singapore. Before that, I earned an MSc in Medical Laboratory Hematology and Blood Bank from the High Institute for Research and Education in Transfusion Medicine, Tehran, Iran (2009- 2012) with first-class honors. My academic journey began with a BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran (2006-2008). I also obtained a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the Medical University of Hamadan, Hamadan, Iran (2004-2006) with first-class honors.I am particularly drawn to the research focus on how oncogenes drive cancers and how a deeper understanding of their biology and functions can inform the design of more effective treatments for patients with cancer.
