Dr. Jai Shanker Pillai H P. pursued his Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India.  He is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Komar University of Science  and Technology Sulaymaniah, Kurdistan, Iraq.  He has 15 years of teaching experience at University level, 12 years of research experience and 2 years of Industrial experience. Dr. Pillai taught the students of Microbiology not only in the universities in India, he also disseminated his knowledge of microbiology to the overseas students in various countries including Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal, Armenia and Barbados. He also ignited the minds of medical students with is teaching excellency in medical microbiology abroad.
