An academician and researcher with fifteen years of professional and analytical laboratory experience. He completed his Doctoral studies in Microbiology at Bharathidasan University, India under the CSIR/SRF scheme in 2011. A pioneer in the isolation and molecular identification of clinical bacterial isolates and testing their drug resistance and virulence factors. Current research interests include the antimicrobial activity of clay minerals (Medical geo-microbiology) against clinical isolates and the medicinal properties of various novel synthetic organic compounds as well as natural products. Actively involved in several applied research and development, and post-graduate teaching in Medical Microbiology, Advanced Immunology and Molecular Biology. Dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards in research, teaching and publishing the results.
